A phenomenological model to describe cracking and fibre pull‐out in ultra high‐performance fibre reinforced concrete

In ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) embedded micro steel fibres increase the ductility and improve post cracking load-bearing behaviour under tensile loading. For an efficent economical dimensioning of components, especially for fatigue susceptible structures, it is necessary to characterise crack-bridging effect associated processes taking place in intersection between both material components. Thus, development model equations predict deformation damage UHPFRC with numerical simulations on macro-level very useful. contribution, a model, which describes phenomenological composite material, presented. The realisation finite element method applies hybrid-mixed formulation, where direct coupling performed. Numerical studies are presented by means illustrative example.
